Dear friends,

I pray this finds all of you doing well in Christ Jesus!

It has been almost a year since my wife went home to be with the Lord. Life truly goes on! And there is nothing you and I can do about it. All we can do is to live each day to the fullest for his pleasures. We, just like non-Christians, face the same and little-bit different sets of life challenges. I believe the only difference is that we put our complete trust in this sovereign God who grants his abundance grace and mercy to his people so that we can journey forward.

Yesterday was to be my wife’s 48th birthday and I went to her grave with much sadness in my heart. It was sad and difficult to sing happy birthday to her. But my heart is filled with joy and gratitude for His faithfulness for all the life’s outcome.

Here is a brief summary of what’s been going on in my life.

We received a group from LA, DTS team in March and had a wonderful time ministering to the children in San Jose and Upala area. They came to encourage me and served by cooking wonderful meals for a whole week.

We also received a team from Birmingham, Alabama in May. We were able to minister a new church in Venado which is about 3 hrs. drive from San Jose.

Joseph & Jonathan are doing well and continuing to dedicate to their studies and growing in the Lord. Joseph will be working in the hospital while he begins his third year in school and Jonathan is attending summer school in LA and will enter 10 th grade this fall.
